The Master of Education degree in Educational Management provides you with a wide range of educational and administrative management skills, the ability and attitude to respond to specific day-day-day industry needs within the Education sector as well as managing effective development.
The MED is a programme designed with the needs of the education world and students in mind. The world requires enterprising men and women who can take stock of the changing competitive environment and make critical decisions concerning effective and efficient strategy formulation and implementation. The program is designed for working professionals, the candidates participate in a cohort consisting of administrative teams that address a practical case study while building capacity in areas of leadership equity and excellence; transformational change; collaborative decision making; inquire and reflective practice. Such interactions will develop candidates’ skills and knowledge base to solve practical problems encountered in educational organizations.
It is designed in such a way as to help students wishing to pursue doctoral degrees to have a smooth transition from master’s to doctorate level. It gives students a constructive platform for reflecting, researching, and writing about contemporary issues in educational settings. The Masters programme lasts for two academic years.
