The advent of the Covid 19 Pandemic at the beginning of 2020 greatly affected the education sector extensively. ROU administration initially had hope that being an Online University, we stood better chances of staying afloat as compared to other institutions. Unfortunately, the financial crisis that followed could not spare us.
As the new year begins, quite a good number of students have shown interest in joining Royal Open University and many have already enrolled in different courses. We look forward to receiving more students at the re-opening so seem to give hope of a better year than the last 2 years. All continuing classes started on 10th January 2022. New students are expected to start their classes on 17th January 2022 progressively according to the timetables of their respective schools.
